After each use, remove any dust, mud and grease with a soft brush or damp cloth. To remove stubborn dirt, use a damp sponge and neutral soap.
Boots that feature a waterproof membrane should avoid any type of inside washing or maintenance.
Do not use solvents, aggressive cleaning products or hard-bristle brushes, as they may damage the leather.
To keep the leather soft and supple, periodic application of cream, shoe wax, or grease for leather footwear products can be used.
We do not recommend that washing machines or pressure washers be used to clean or wash your boots. High temperatures may damage boot parts.
Do not store your boots in plastic bags or closed containers as it could alter ventilation and proper drying.
Always dry your boots in a dry, well-ventilated space and keep away from direct sunlight or other direct sources of heat like radiators or stoves.
Make sure all zippers, velcro, clips, etc are properly secured. Fill with newspaper and store in the original Stylmartin box to maintain original shape. Place your boots in a dry and well-ventilated place to ensure that the leather remains soft and supple.
Stylmartin® boots only provide the safety characteristics described if worn correctly and maintained in perfect condition. It is the responsibility of the user to maintain the boots properly and replace them if any part becomes damaged or badly worn. It is likewise the responsibility of the user to ensure that all closing systems (Velcro, zips, laces etc.) are intact and in good working order. Weather conditions like high temperatures or humidity, may alter or reduce the boot’s performance.
